Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe Horserace

This Sunday we woke up to a cloudless blue sky and an outdoor morning temperature of 70 degrees and knew we had to spend the day outside. We met up with friends and headed to the Longchamp horse race track in Paris. Ladies wearing hats were admitted for free, so of course I had to don my favorite summertime accessory! I felt a lot less chic, however, when we arrived to something reminiscent of Pretty Woman's polo match scene.

 Fascinators and hats, men in suits and ties out-dressed us in our casual attire. But we entered proudly, anyway, and enjoyed a picnic in the racetrack.
